🇬🇧 👉 L’Impératrice is a French pop-new disco band from Paris. Created in 2012, the band is composed of 5 musicians and singer Flore Benguigui, who joined the founding members in 2015. The band’s first EP was released in 2012, the second in 2014 and the third in 2015. In 2016, the Impératrice won the public prize of the Deezer Adami award and released the single « vanille fraise » including a sample from the artist Anita Ward. In 2017, the famous Australian band Parcels remixed the track « séquence » and in parallel, l’Impératrice performed in many festivals such as the Printemps de Bourges. In October 2017, the group released the single « erreur 404 » from their first album « Matahari » and performed in major Parisian venues such as La Cigale and the Casino de Paris, before going on tour in 2018. In 2020, the Empress released the single « fou » from their new album entitled « Tako Tsubo », which included the singles « peur des filles » and « anomalie bleue« .
